How to Upgrade to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)

As an Android user, you might be thinking “how the hell can I upgrade my OS to Android 2.3 A.K.A Gingerbread?” well… in this post I will try to give you how to do so, just continue reading.

1. Try to connect to the internet  from your phone.

2. After you see a Bar notification on the upper side of the screen, press the download button and the 43.6MB files needed for the upgrade will be download right into your phone

3. When done, a notification will appear showing the files is verified and ready to be installed.

4. Click on the restart and install button to continue the upgrade.

5. there will be 2 restarts on the steps, first is the restart for installation, and then the restart after installation is completed.

6. After the second restart your device will have a new OS that is the Gingerbread.
The changes

Different result may vary trough out devices. Some should have a clearer screen with capacitive screen feature should be better. Several new icons might also appear such as the battery, meter, GSM signal and internet connection will be more simple and colored green. You might also realize the design for the mobile feature changed. And also you might want to give it a try and feal the performance increase. If so, then all you have to do is enjoy your new Android Gingerbread.
